Florida Keys Shark Project
Shark research has arrived at our MarineLab campus on Key Largo! A new collaboration with the Ocean First Institute gives their Florida Keys Shark Research a home. We are excited to host their research project, and look forward to sharing their activities with our students.

Location
Our location on Largo Sound in Key Largo offers quick access to all the underwater communities of the Upper Keys: the seagrass beds on either side of the island, the mangroves fringing our shoreline and creating islands in Florida Bay, and the only barrier reef in the continental United States just offshore.
We are pleased to provide support to various organizations, agencies, and individual researchers through use of our facilities and access to these unique and important habitats.
