  • Most (students) have not been to the ocean, nor snorkeled on the coral reef. During our closing circle at the airport, many expressed their awe for the beauty of the reef, but also the vast amount of knowledge they gained while at MarineLab. They even mentioned the dependence of the reef on the grasses and the mangroves…so they were listening :-)

The facility, boats and snorkel equipment are top-rate and our students are constantly reminded about safety procedures. Marine Lab is by far the most looked forward to field trip for our students.
